＜p＞Alana Pierini, Canada's Polaroid junkie, is an artist, curator and lyricist whose work includes painting, sculpture, photography, found objects, language and music.In 1980 Pierini became very interested in using Polaroid cameras to instantly document friends and family. To enhance the unpredictable photographs that the new technology produced, she worked on the images with sandpaper, ink and paint.
